Cowering at the foot of my mountain she remains unmoved imposing even when I beg and pray “get out of my way!” she peers down on me drowning in self-pity crippled in fear and unwilling to dare Cowering at the foot of my mountain I learned courage breeds in only one place. I learned she's not in my way; she is on my way. The mountain I look at is not separate from me; I am the mountain, the mountain is me.
