Vulnerability is the gateway to authenticity and connection, but why is it so hard to practice?
The Dance of Universes
A Poem by Kellion Knibb
I get to choose how I want to show up –for myself– –for everyone else– What I give to this world is a choice for me alone How the world responds is its own poem I smile when it rains because the sun is not all that’s beautiful I’m rewarded with rainbows and the glisten of raindrops falling from tree leaves I dance when the beat drops and find companion on the dancefloor with people who came looking for the same things I’ve been searching for I listen with intent and bend my ears to hear what they dare not say out loud just yet Here, I think, is the chance to accept what’s been shared in that glance and give a piece of what’s brought me here Here, I think, is where we come together or get torn apart severed by our fear to go deeper and share what really goes on when no one else is there.
Saving this poem to return to. I need this reminder! Thank you for sharing, Kellion.
