Ooohhh…. Great question. Like I said the eclipse is big yet cosmically normal… we have a lot of that happening around us, but we’ve written them off as mundane and normal.

The way I see it, there are so many things to marvel at every day. It’s harder to see them in cities like NYC because buildings and concrete cover everything. However, I have a similar experience of smallness when we get hurricanes, when I go to the beach on a full moon and see how high the tides rise, or even when I leave the city and see the stars.

There’s a lot around us to slow us down. We just have to be intentional about slowing down and take note of them as much as possible.

Not to sounds too deep but what's happening around us is also happening within us so with that being said I ponder the question that should you feel small or should you feel eternal?

as you are nature and the cosmos possessing the beautiful amount of melanin in which you have...Just food for thought no problems.

I’ll definitely have to muse on that one.

Great piece Kelli! Love that reminder of how insignificant our lil nothings are in the face of the giant universe. How do you keep this concept at the forefront when living life now after the eclipse?
