Today’s Poem
Because healing isn’t just physical, here’s a poem for the parts of you still finding your way.
Off these streets
by Kellion Knibb
She retreats into the hush of stillness, listening deeply— for the wisdom of silence. No longer a victim of her mind, no longer bound by restless thoughts, she floats like a leaf on the skin of an early-morning pond at ease in her own being. She is a hoe cutting through untouched soil, opening paths for seeds to grow Fearless, courage dripping from her fingertips, vulnerability softening her lips from which she lets her truth show. She has learned how to cry, to sob and wail when needed, not in suffering, no, but to call forth hearts-ease, to cleanse, to release the burdens of her realities. She has come to know the place within, beyond these crowded streets. Awakened, she lets her mind slip to the backseat, quiet now, as spirit divine takes lead.
