Today’s Episode
As the seasons shift, so do we.
Personally, it’s been a season of introspection. Among other things, I discovered the flip side of wanderlust—the unexpected longing for home, even while exploring new places. Balancing my love for travel with a newfound desire for stillness has been eye-opening.

Today’s Poem
The Call of Familiar Roads
By Kellion Knibb
I have been so far into the world I lose myself in the same fears that brought me here where courage and doubt both live in the shout of my mind's loudest cheers I have been so far into the world I find freedom and loneliness in the same places, in the same choices spoken in the same voice with words, I call mine I lose myself in my own independence, then reclaim her in the yeses and noes that guard me with a sense of defense Out there, I forget if I belong, or where I belong— to a place, a thing, a moment, or a song I have been so far into the world I forget to savor the station where I choose to lay my head next, too busy missing the scent of my bed, craving it more than the adventure while still dreaming of where to visit hence Learning that adventure’s roam and the warmth of familiar roads can live within the same heart I remember that I belong where I go even though out in the world, nowhere feels like home
